RF/Antenna Intern

The focus of this position is on the design, test and integration of RF electronic circuits.  You are responsible for:
  • Component down-select, schematic capture and RF layout design
  • RF performance characterization of COTS components
  • Analysis and simulation of RF circuits
  • Providing engineering support of existing products and new initiatives under the direction of engineers and managers
You are a part of a motivated cross-functional team of RF, antenna, digital and software engineers that design and develop high reliability antennas and RF embedded electronics and subsystems. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, RF, microwave and antenna theory
  • Familiarity with HFSS, MATLAB, ADS, Altium or similar software
  • Able to work effectively as a part of an integrated design team
  • Self-motivated and eager to apply learning into practice
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented individual who is able to self-educate and progress on tasks autonomously with guidance provided by a mentoring engineer.
In this role, you have the opportunity to gain experience—as a contributing member of a high performance and experienced engineering team—from product conceptualization through all phases of a design including prototyping, manufacturing, and testing.  This hybrid position will work primarily on site, however, occasionally will allow for work from home a few days a week dependent on program needs. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA. Candidates must be able to legally work in the U.S.
